Birmingham spoon please help

    I kind of shy away from flatware because the subject goes way over my head sometimes lol
    But I found a few references to J.C&S and Birmingham popped up? It is almost 4 1/2 inches long
    But what is it's use? age thanks for any help!!!

    The anchor is Birmingham and the lion means sterling.

    At that length I would think demitasse spoon, but it looks like a souvenir. Can't read the engraving, though.

    Duh. It's a souvenir of Killarney, Ireland. The harp on the end made it all come clear.

    Close up of the marks will probably tell. If it's sterling, one of those stamps will be a date letter.

    You might want to see what the initials of the monogram are - just below the marks in your picture. Are they upside down in that view?
