    I'm curious.....
How many of you had been outside, on top of the WTC?

Went back to SA today to see what new pieces of jewelry they may have gotten in ... and ... it happened again! While I was looking through the display of hanging necklaces and bracelets the girl behind the counter (a different one from last time) tells me that she just got a bag of jewelry donated and plants this large shopping tote with jewelry in it on the counter in front of me and tells me to go through it! There was no gold in the bag that I saw ... but I found several pieces of silver and even more ivory.
    from Mexico:

from Italy and USA: the pin from Italy - trying to decide if it's oxidized on purpose or not.

ivory ... the plumeria earrings have sterling screw backs and are marked Mings :D the others are generic pieces with generic findings, but I still think they're pretty (just not as well done). There was even more ivory that I didn't buy ... but they weren't as nice as these.

I think I have been to the top of it , but it was once , and it was over 40 years ago when i was 16 and we stopped on the way through to Syracuse , so my memory of it is a little vague, as i didn't even really know what it was back then ,or the significance it had on the world, coming from Vancouver it was just another high building like my dad works on , lol

HaHa!!! If you think YOUR memory is vague.....I was just a kidling....i.e......UNDER age 10....I think......:joyful:......EVEN WORSE!!!! I was thinking about the WRONG BUILDING.....HOW BAD IS THAT.....SORRY....WAS NEVER IN/ON/OR ANYWHERE NEAR WTC...so @lloyd249, you might want to retract your 'like'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you look at the Wiki page for the original buildings, you'll see photographs and a map of Manhattan that show the relative positions of the WTC vs. the rest of the island. I sincerely doubt that any photo taken from the upper stories would have been able to show the image in your puzzle. Much more likely to have been an aerial photo.

I hit a rummage sale today, and it hit back. I have to edit the main photo so that it'll upload, but these two bracelets followed me home too. Both have dragons on them. The silver-colored one is recent costume, but the other is... carved Asian ivory. I couldn't be sure in the lighting where I found it, but I am now. DSCF6652.JPG
