Found this in an old jewelry box that belonged to my grandma.
Any ideas what this might be?

I believe it was often clipped to something else, like a handbag. But may be wrong. I used to own one, but never used it.

 

Glove clip. The spring ring whatsit clips to a lady's handbag, and the clamper end holds her gloves while she's eating or whatever. I've never know what to do with them since no one uses gloves. It would make a good paper clamp on a desk, come to think.
