R Kingman

Does anyone have info on an artist named R Kingman who does oil paintings. I have one been trying to find his catalog.

 

Dlf, you'll have to give us more information. Artists don't typically have a "catalog." Do you have an example of his work you can post?

Yep no bio just other artwork of his. Not sure what to do except get an appraisal.

 

Loaded it as my avatar for now.

 

Some of them are in the style (or copies) of Tamara Lempicka. Then there are totally unrelated styles, mostly more run of the mill than Tamara Lempicka.
I wonder if R. Kingman is one single person, and if so, maybe a factory painter?

 

Dlf, what is helpful to us is: 1) photographs of the artwork both front and back including frame, 2) an in-focus close-up photograph of the signature, 3) in-focus close-up photographs of any labels, stickers or handwritten notations, 4) the size and medium and 5) any information you have about the painting e.g. what you were told about it, what continent is was found on.
