Does anyone have any idea on what thes 2 pendents mean and why they were made?

I got these in a bag of jewelry. Not sure why they were even made. Could they be religious in nature? Does anyone have a idea of what they mean or who would have made them. There is nothing written on either of them. The larger one is 5.5cm long and 3 cm wide. The smaller one is 3.75cm by 2.25 cm in size. And both are approx. .25 cm in depth. It looks like it is two pieces mounted together for the edge from the side view. Thanks.

 

Egyptian style .......kinda not well done......

 

Fashion jewellery with random Egyptian hieroglyphs, the smaller one has Ankh symbols and other 'symbols' too. Not Egyptian-made.

Anytime you see this kind of chain for a necklace, you can be pretty sure that it is current costume jewelry from China. Not always, but mostly.

Not sure what they call this ball chain. I call it key chain necklace, because back in the 50s-60s that's what my dad had his car keys on.

 

I should clarify that "Not always, but mostly".
I have used these chains for sterling charms that I wear. So what is hanging on the chain, could have been added later.

 

In this case I think they started life together; at least one of the charms has copper coming through too.

 

I agree with you Clutter, we use to have this type of chain on with our house keys and car keys.

Yes all pieces look to be in the same condition and age.
