Welcome HMAC. Just wondering, what is sian silver?
:jawdrop: I am still catching my breath.:jawdrop:

It is stunning, HMAC. Just a little advice for non-professional photographers, which most of us are: Most items are much better discernible when photographed against a light-coloured background, like a white wall. (Not a window.)

But from what I can see it is inlaid with nephrite jade, carnelian, turquoise and coral.
The photos are so dark I can't see the detail, but from the general shape and use of stones it looks Sino-Tibetan, or possibly Mongolian. Mongolian styles are somewhat related to Himalayan styles, due to the centuries of exchange of religious ideas and (artistic) styles. The jade plaques on front and back were carved in China.
Looking forward to better pictures with more detail, though.

I have sterling silver goblets marks ;Siam sterling 925 .SIAM 925 STERLING - Silver pieces made in Siam, either before 1939, when the country was renamed Thailand, or between 1945 - 1949, when it briefly became Siam again. I like your Teapot.Thank you.

Very nice, Iouri, but this teapot is not from Siam/Thailand. The word 'sian' in the title is just a spelling mistake.;)
