585 and 750 stamp?

    Hi all! Looking for help on this gold pendant. It looked to be stamped with a star, AR, and 585. Then it is also stamped 750. Is it 14 K or 18 K? thanks in advance

    Agreed, and it will be a mx of 18 and 14 carat gold.

    Definitely Italy, Arezzo. 585 could be the maker, I'll take a look.

    Edit:
    can't find a maker with the number 585, but I am pretty sure it is the maker, and 750/18k is the gold content.

    Yeppers. Can we see the whole thing? A lot of jobbers are never named; you'd need to get into a directory of goldsmiths to find out whodunnit. They must have such somewhere, but if it's not a designer piece the maker isn't all that important.
