antique table

    I got this table for 5€, it was pretty destroyed but I saw potential.

    It's constructed from wood pieces that were glued together

    It was in a terrible shape, painted red.
    I removed the paint, fixed the wood and painted it black.

    There is a makers mark: möbelfabrik simon breitner & sohn, im Klusemannschen Hause, nächst der Kettenbrücke, Budapest.

    Also, it's about 10/15cm taller than the usual dining table.

    I'm guessing it had plaster decorations that someone removed?
    How old is it??

    Clearly Habsburg era, but that is no surprise.:playful:

    Oh I know, I live in a small town nearby Budapest.

    Just wondering if its mid or late 19th century
