Featured What went in this jewelry box?

    Hey, back with another jewelry box. I collect old boxes and always try to buy some when I can. However, I got this for free with the purchase of a watch. Obviously it's not for a watch though.... I am somewhat stumped on what it was for. I was thinking earrings? Definitely older, not sure how old exactly. No markings either. Thoughts? IMO looks early 1900s. Maybe Victorian?

    ClutteredCloset looks like an exact match thanks so much!! Not jewelry but oh well it was free. I have someone who claims that Sunday at the flea market they are bringing me a bunch of old jewelry boxes and I can have whatever I want for free. He also said he had some of the older glass boxes from Paris, beveled glass, if it is what I am thinking about that'd be crazy! Fingers crossed!
