Sometimes at estate auctions you run into that bidder that buys up everything you like. That was today for me, an older lady in her 60's outbid me an others all day long on a variety of antique and vintage items, the cream of the crop of the sale. She had a giant pile of stuff in the middle of the yard, hope she brought a uhaul.

Some of the auctioneers assistants that I regularly chat with were telling me that they have been seeing greatly increased interest in antiques during the pandemic and that they and some of their friends can't source goods for their flea market stalls at a reasonable cost right now.

I ended up winning these card catalogs for what I though was a very reasonable price. The first one is a little bit nicer but I was happy to get them both.

Are you going to "Flea Market Flip" them or leave them be?

Just going to enjoy using the top one. It fits postcards so I imagine I'll be able to fit around 500 or so in it. The bottom one, I may try to resell eventually.

Would you please describe exactly what you mean, I assume alter them in some way to increase resale? Probably not, but I'm not as attached to the 2nd one.

It's a TV show on Great American Country. Contestants try to find pieces of [whatever] to restore, remake, refurbish etc. These are then sold at another flea and whoever makes the most net profit wins. They paint a lot of nice wood, but some things are really creative.

I found 4 Morgantown Mikado iced teas in a junk shop. It's getting harder and harder to find nice, old, etched stems so I grab them when I see them :shame:

Finally resized last weekend's take's pictures. Such as it is. $34 including some straight-to-scrap freshwater rice pearl and 14k jewelry that's not pictured. I bought the Judaica-themed cocktail picks because they're brand new in box and the box came from Grossinger's Hotel.

The big green and white chunk is moss agate; it comes clear and opaque. The chunk at the bottom is often sold as jade; I'm not sure what it really is. The pyrite is pyrite.

This is a nice find @@cxgirl

This seems to be a gold plated Sheaffer Targa with a classic chequered patternThis should have a 14-carat gold nib.
You seem to have original box and papers which is also very good.
