Here I am with Jim Campbell driver of the Oh Boy Oberto Funny Car at the recent 2017 Northwest Nationals drags in WA state. :)

And then you hand sew them back on again when you get a new jacket? Do you use a thimble?

Thanks! It is actually worth close to, or more than, $600 by now. :)
I have been to every event and track, and used every product on there, or it wouldn't be on there.
Oldest is the '70 Winternationals in Pomona Cal.
Rarest is Stardust Raceway Las Vegas.
Not all are on there yet and the 2011 Winternationals patch is missing (space left for it) though I think they may not have made one that year. 2016 is somewhere. :p

    I can't get them all at full image. :p IMG_6941.JPG IMG_6943.JPG IMG_6944.JPG

King, did you have to buy an oversized, extra-long jacket to fit them all? (It still looks as if you have a little bit of room for more!)

I did. I found a light 'farm' type jacket.
It's much like a shirt. It will work for a long time.
I don't wear it much, maybe twice a year.

I'd hang that one on a wall and start a new one.

A new one would have few patches. :p
    ~
If you wanted to make a spare you would have to have a lot of $ and an amazing amount of time to try and find all those patches. ;)
Some are custom made for there were none ever made for some tracks.
If I can ascertain that there was never a patch made for the 2011 Winternationals I will have my own made. :)

Can't help on that one. I'm crazy enough to hand paint a copy and wear that, or at least try.

The 2011 cannot be found...someone please prove me wrong! :)
    ~
The Winters are the first race of the year.
There are 2011 patches for later events.
It is possible that someone screwed up and they didn't get made or weren't going to get done in time, so they skipped them.
Since they usually keep the same general design all year I can have a 'fantasy' one made using the look of the others. :)
Winters usually use a snowflake in the design.

That wouldn't surprise me. If you're into that scene and no one has one, there may not have been one.

A guy I know, who should know, has never seen one.

I should get designing and make extra. :)

Just make sure you don't run afoul of copyright laws. As long as they're not sold you'd probably be OK; it wouldn't be worth anyone's while to worry about revenues or privileges etc.

    Thanks!
I'd like to make more than one and have been concerned about that.

Hey @KingofThings. I'm on my phone today. I was noticing that for your thumbnails that if I clicked on the picture then I could scroll through the pics (using arrows on the side of the pic). But if I just clicked on the link of the pic then I had to back out of that screen to see the other pictures.

Well you said that on the phone it was better with full image. I could get the pic, zoom in...

    Actually no.
Much better on the computer at full image.
When I try to look at them on my phone I have to open and close each one so to go back and forth to see and help is just nuts.
Same having to open each one on the computer.
It gets even crazier with 10 photos.
I'm here a lot and to do that is tedious on both phone and computer.
I ask for full image not just for me.
I'm not the only one who would like this improved. :)
The faster it is to look at items...surely the better it is for those seeking help. ;)
