How many unique item question posts are you allowed?

Hello, I am new and really don't want to break any rules. I did read the rules and found nothing on how many unique item question posts are you allowed?

This site is SO GREAT. I don't want to overstep my bounds. I have many things I'd like to know the origin and value of but don't want to break any written or unwritten rules of posting.

I have started collecting items at my new home in Florida. I buy them when I think they are cool. Mostly is some kind of art. I keep most of the things that I get but I do sell some items on eBay if I have buyers remorse or decide I don't like them. Most of the time I have no idea real value, just what I'm willing to pay at the time of purchase.

I've only been here 15 months but I see no reason to not do so. I wouldn't put too much on in a day though. 5 maybe?
Really good pertinent photos are essentially required though or you will be asked for more.
This isn't really a retail pricing forum though you may get some opinions on potential values.
Others will be along to reply.

I was thinking individual posts so a few things per is better on a post as long as there's enough info shown with up to 10 photos.

Helpful suggestions.
If more than one glass item. They can be posted in the same thread. Just number the pictures. Same goes for pottery or jewelry.
Just separate your threads by subject matter. (pottery, glass, jewelry, furniture, etc.)

Pictures:
Be sure to show the bottoms of glass and pottery; back of jewelry.

Measurements should always be included.

We look forward to seeing what you have and helping.

279 questions a week for the 1st month.
1260 questions a quarter for the 1st year,
and after that 43,856 questions per year ...
until you have no items left, run out of questions, or know everything there is to know about anything !!

After that you can only post on the funnies thread, or welcome new members....
but no more questions.....only helpful ANSWERS !!!

 

The only limit is the one you set for yourself, Dennis. After all, you may get so many replies (and/or requests for more info) that you can't keep up with it all. You'll figure out what you can handle.

 

Welcome! There isn't a limit on asking but from what I've observed too many different threads at a time might end up with some sort of overlooked especially if in the same category. Others might have different observations though.

No, I haven't.

 

First you should double check that the email address you entered when signing up is correct. (Look at the Contact Details page in your Profile.) On that same page is Messaging Preferences - you should make sure that the first box is checked - you accept emails from the site.

If your email is correct in your profile, you should also check out any "spam" or "junk mail" folder in your email, just to make sure it didn't get routed that way by your email program or service.
