Demi-Lune Table, really old, old or vintage?

My grandma used to have a similar one, but with thicker wood and less refined...I loved playing with those sliding doors as a kid... Out of nostalgia I bought this one a couple of years ago, because it reminded me of grandma. But according to the seller this one is much older than the one my grandma had, that was the 20s-30s version... it has intarsia, very subtle but beautifully done. So again, the obvious questions, how old and where from? 2014-07-16 23.22.10.jpg 2014-07-16 23.24.47.jpg 2014-07-16 23.25.19.jpg 2014-07-16 23.25.41.jpg 2014-07-16 23.25.58.jpg

I can't get past the fetus in the cabinet and the skeleton on the chair.

Haha, sorry about that, it's just my cabinet of curiosities and fossils, the fetus was made by an art-school student, it is not real! The skeleton on the other hand...

Yeah, cool decor. I'm not getting an antique vibe from the table, it still feels 20th century.

I also think circa 1930. More art deco stylistically than many you see. That may explain the differences more than anything.

IMG_4400.jpg Mine feels like a cross between the thirties one and the 1900 one above and this late 19th century one, these tables were inspired by the style of Louis Seize, not so much Art Deco: https://wagenwiel.nl/tag/halve-maan/
