Any chance someone has an idea what this french mirror says? I found in a basement clearing of a neighbor. Tried translator but the phrase repeats and words are contracted differently in each set. So far I have something about "you are the sun that rises to my head"?

'Tu es legrand soleil quime Monte a la tete. il n y a pas une goutte de nuit dans tes yeux. Tues comme la mertu berces les etoiles.'

That is the first copy of the three sentences that seem to be repeated down the length of the piece.
Thanks in advance for any help guys!

There are also references to night, the sea and the stars. Maybe a poem?

Tu es comme la mer = You are like the sea.

Tu berces les etoiles = You rock the stars.

Il n'ya pas une goutte de nuit dans tes yeux.

There is not a drop of night in your eyes.

    Very poetic!

    Thanks Bakers!!!
This group of lines makes me think I should write a poem, maybe a song (never done that) about the time my ship went all quiet and dead in the water at night off Hawaii.
    No bow wave, no wake.
It's not normal and highly unusual for a warship to do this intentionally.
So I woke up. No alarms or general quarters klaxon.
Oddly enough, one of few, not actually already awake on watch.
    -
I got partially dressed and went out on deck...
    -
    OMG!!!!!
It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen at night in nature!
    -
    The Pacific ocean was glass!
    NOT a ripple!
    This is incredibly rare!
    -
The sky completely clear, no moon, the stars SO bright I could easily get around the ship!
    -
    BUT....
    No horizon to be seen!
I could not tell the night sky from the water!!!
It was as if we were floating in space!!!
    -
We remained like that for at least an hour and I stayed out there for awhile more since it was still like that forward of us.
It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Obviously I'll never forget this.
    -
WOW were there a lot of upset guys the next day!!!
    ;)
I just asked them if they were all dead?
How could you not react to dead silence and no movement of the ship? :p
    -
Hope it was ok to share that. :)

These are lines from different beautiful Paul Eluard poems.

    From Je T'aime:
Tu es le grand soleil qui me monte à la tête.
You are the great sun that shines on my head.

    From Telle femme:
Il n'y a pas une goutte de nuit dans tes yeux.
There is not a drop of night in your eyes.

    From Prête aux baisers résurrecteurs:
Tu es comme la mer tu berces les étoiles.
You are like the sea you cradle the stars.
(Maybe a wordplay: la mer, the sea - la mère, the mother)

Thank you all for your great answers and input! I feel as tho I have found a very special piece indeed! No date or inscription other than the poem lines [which I will be looking up and reading] but still something I'll be treasuring.
    Merci!☆

Extremely unsettling to have the sensation of being out in space, nothing under us!
