Can anyone assign a nationality to this box?

I didn't know which forum was best so I choose this one.
I don't think this little box is very old but I like the flowers on it.
I am wondering if anyone will instantly recognize a particular national style in the work.
    There are no markings.
I am thinking Asia but that's a big continent...!
I'm hoping not to have to google search country by country !

Most likely China, but you should show us the rest of it, inside, underside, etc. China may be one of the only countries making this stuff anymore, anyone know 'bout that?

Good to know, had no idea India made that stuff. I believe it because the pattern is different from the Chinese stuff.

Decorated top & 4 sides. Bottom and interior black. Looking rough, box interior 20170830_195806.jpg not as whitish as the image looks. Bottom looks very glossy black and unscratched.

Tom, yours is from Rajasthan in India.
It is different from Kashmiri lacquerware, which has more of a Persian influence in the designs. The Rajasthani style is more native Indian, because the region was allowed to remain Hindu during the Muslim Moghul occupation of part of India.
