    Lovely vase.

If you list on line, be sure to disclose the damage. It does lower the value some.

Hello. Are still interested in my vase? Haven't sold it yet.

If you are interested in selling something you need to either use the private message option or list it in the marketplace section of the forum. Offers to sell an item are really not allowed on the other parts of the forum.

To contact either of the 2 folks that expressed interest in your vase click on the "inbox" at the top right of the page. Type the user id's 916Bulldogs123 & Bakersgma then type your message. You can send the same message to both of them but I would send them separately.

Welcome to the forum @Beata!!:happy:

That is okay. It has happened quite often really but if one of us regulars we just try to gently explain the rules.:happy:

It really is a very pretty vase.

Center-left (facing the vase) looks like a western-style 1940+ house. Search eBay/Etsy and you will find pages of Nippon vases. That should give you a better idea of age and value. When you search active listings, you will see vases that were sold in dime stores (Woolworths, for one) for decades. Then, you will see the really high-priced, very well hand-decorated vases many people collected in the last half of the 20C. Now I see these coming on the market in abundance as Boomers are downsizing and estates are being sold. Yep, I 76yrs and have collected/sold and worked for antique dealers for over 50 yrs. My stuff will hit the market...Hopefully, not soon! Always remember, an item is only worth what you can sell it for and because it is old, does not mean it has high value.

Hi sorry for all the pictures, I came across this vase in a house clearance and thought it might be worth something. I actually would probably never sell it as I love it, however I am intrigued to know if it’s a really old vase or a new fake. It’s really pretty and very fragile porcelain. I can’t find a similar nippon mark on any of the forums or internet sites so thought I might see if anyone here knows. Thank you in advance!
