    Hello~

    I'm Melissa, my grandmother always called me Minerva. I'm from Northern California, where we have 2 seasons, FIRE Season and Holiday season. Currently it's fire season.

    I have an affinity for collecting antique and vintage items; my family calls it hoarding . Po-TAto/PoTAHto. The pandemic has left me with a lot of spare time for hobbies.

    @Figtree3 thank you. I would move to the coast and open an eclectic bed & breakfast, with an attached metaphysical/tarot/astrology shop, if I wasn't afraidy cat.

    @sabre123 I knew I wasn't alone. :smuggrin: He says it hoarding, I say it's: Single handedly trying to preserve pieces of history for future generations.

    Welcome to the forums!

    Another member on this forum says "it isn't hoarding if its valuable." I agree with that sentiment although its more of a "that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it" type of mental exercise to justify my obsession with antiques and collectables.
