    Good Morning, Antiquers!
Is this a Rose? With a Knife?
    I can't decide if it's a cartoon character or a Rose.
    Knife? Lower bottom of pendant.
Any idea of the maker? HC? Hc?
    I would appreciate your help.

Hi, Lower left side. Horizontally. It resembles a knife but could be part of the flower. The blade? points toward the two open work leaves. Calling it a knife is a stretch, unless one has an over-active imagination. Thanks.

I see. It looks like part of the rose.

Obviously not marked as such, and I don't think they do much in sterling, but the rose itself looks like some recent stuff done by Alex and Ani. I know this is not AaA but I would have said it was if I hadn't seen the markings........

If I were guessing, I'd think it was 80s small batch work. It doesn't look Native American, but it might have come out of one of the better gift shops.

Thank you. I'm not familiar with Alex and Ani; I'll have to look up their work.

Thank you. Does batch work mean mass produced or produced in quantity?

I'd say produced in smaller quantities but not an individually made piece. Dozens rather than thousands.
