I think it's his work. It's not my taste of painting, and it's cheaply done. I believe this to be a tourist decorative painting, and not "fine art" but others may disagree.

Well, if his work, won’t be cheap

The printed blurb extolling his excellence & the exclusivity of his clientele sounds like Blanchard wrote it himself. I wouldn't count on its veracity.

Yah, totally agree, that's why I think it's his work.
Kard, look for other examples with thin paint and blob impasto areas.

Kard, could I please have a better look at the Davis and Shaw framing sticker?

    How big is this?

Davis & Shaw was a furniture store in Denver, Colorado. That supports the fact that the artist's work was decorative.

The internet says your work would be pre-1958 because the artist added a single period following his signature.

And what exactly are fine and decorative paintings? Fine arts are expensive, by listed artists, sold at high end galleries...? And decorative are less expensive, sofa type, available at department stores etc..?
Here are some opinions on the topic:

By the way, Matisse thought “ a picture should always be decorative”.

    You mean post 1958?
“Between 1958 and 1961 his style went through a number of changes including the addition of a second period. One after the first name and one after the second.”
