Interesting idea but not the best execution. It's kind of hard to tell what are the images if you don't look closely. IMG_9541.JPG IMG_9542.JPG IMG_9543.JPG IMG_9544.JPG IMG_9545.JPG IMG_9546.JPG IMG_9547.JPG

Is this some kind of Palissy Ware? Majolica puzzle plate? All those little hidden things are kinda clever.:joyful: I still haven't figured out the last picture.

Never heard of Palissy ware but after a quick search seems like they are with more refined, organized and symetric images.
I think on this piece there are pre-historic like creatues, dynos or so.
The last image looks to me like a four leged creature with long, turned back, neck.

I said some kind of Palissy Ware. I didn't mean normal, everyday Palissy Ware, LOL! I'm wildly guessing and free associating. :joyful:

Maybe this is a studio piece. One of a kind. What's the first letter of mark or initials on the back? Can't tell if it's BKO, DKO or OKO...?

The critters and the little face peeking out remind me of the fantastical mythological creatures and faces painted on Italian pottery that is often listed and described as Raffaellesche/Raphaelesque.

Looks like a horses body - I see hooves and tail, not sure about the head

    At first I saw a horse's body/legs but the head/neck changed that.

Absolutely. Mark is right and the other examples of her work are the same "style." (If you can call this a style. ;) )
