Had a list of 3 sales for this morning (after going to an "almost estate" sale yesterday - husband had died and the wife has now been moved.) First one today must have been called off - or I wrote it down wrong, because the entire block was quiet as a tomb. Second was a waste of time. Third didn't look all that promising in the front yard - all kids' stuff and a rack of clothes that were all way bigger than I have ever needed. But the woman pointed out the gateway to the back where there were several tables set up and a variety of small (newish) furniture. Caught sight of 4 like-new Deruta mugs, only one with a $2 sticker. I ask - are these $2 each? Why no - $2 for all 4. SOLD!

Then she mentions that the jewelry on another table is all 50 cents. Seemed like mostly costume (come of which might have appealed to you joolies.) But wait! What's this pair of earrings? Mexico, 925. SOLD.

    So $2.50 later I'm happy!

Score! Those mugs are expensive new.

We had downpours this morning, so anything scheduled for outside was cancelled. Driving through it got rather exciting once on the way back - it went from no rain to God kicked over a bucket in literally two seconds. I had to put my water bottle down to get to the wipers....without dumping all over the inside of the car.

Spent a grand total of $43 this weekend, and scored a good $500 total in scrap metal. I'd call that a decent payout.(LOL) It makes up for other times when I've found squat.

Bakersgma, Nice Score! I have an entire set in that pattern that I shipped back from Italy in the late 80's or early 90's.

Great jacket KOT. I enjoyed the photographs.

    Way to go evelyb30!

    Thanks!!!
Got to wear it for about 8 hours today which is better than usual but it got wasaaaaaay too hot and humid. :p
So hot I left after the semi final.:(
A few asked about it, commented directly to me and quite a number of times I heard discussion behind me and also caught eyes on it.
One of the vendors was sure he saw me before and he had the last event patch!!!!
They were all gone early this year and never make it past noon on Sunday.
It will go on the jacket this week. :)
