Lovely Agate Cameos

    I was looking for something on Rio Grande's website today and happened on these. Hadn't seen them before and thought they might help someone identify a find someday. One more reason I need to get my jewelry bench set up again - so I can justify buying some of the Alphonse Mucha designs. They are made by a German company called Herbert Stephan KG. Most of the others run $29 to $55 but the Mucha ones are in the $150 to $200 range. Cool!

    It seems many are ultra sonic "carved" by machine on dyed agate and other materials. Interesting little video about the process...
