Featured Looking for ID on this cameo of woman with feathers in hair

This is a small 14K frame brooch pin that converts to a pendant. The woman has a panache of feathers curving over her forehead. Might she be a mythological figure? Or just a woman with a predilection for fancy hair ornaments?

I do think you are correct about it being Ceres!

 

The signature attribute of Ceres is grain. Most often her head is wreathed with ripe ears on their stalks, even when wearing a diadem as well. Sometimes she has stalks of grain springing from her bosom. While it is common to refer to the grain as wheat, it is probable that it is the related grain, barley, which has the simpler braided look of the ears seen on cameos. Sometimes this is so stylized as to resemble feathers. [emphasis mine]

A sheaf is a good arm load of grain. The goddess is adorned with stalks of grain.
