Way too nice to melt. And Kristiaan's New Grenada piece..yike. Dunno if it's valuable, but it has to be vanishingly rare.

I have been tentatively branching into other areas. I am way behind in photographing. I haven't found much quality, as in value, jewelry items lately, the competition is really out there since gold and silver are so high.

I was browsing a junky antique shop and found these. I was mesmerized by their beauty. The guy wanted $2 a piece for each item, but we negotiated cash got me a much better price. I have more to show you, but right now I am experiencing a laptop glitch that hubby has to fix (but he is watching golf.) I can't resize the rest right now, says files too large.

I am guessing these are circa 1920s. I was so thrilled with these I am making a postcard album, ordered pages from Wal-Mart last night. I also ordered postcard sleeves.

Most of the above are German, one is French (the lady with the fur), two from the USA. These are French, I have been researching postcards, evidently they used colorization like this.

The "like" is for the postcards, which are really cool, Marko! I've never heard of "divorce jewelry" before, but it sure gets the message out there, doesn't it?

A few finds from the flea market. I was told by the seller the vase is arts and crafts but I don’t really know - do you?

the little vase is French and I think inexpensive tourist item - 50’s? Later?

a ceramic bowl. I forget what this type of glazing is (saw it once a while ago) - do you know? 3D2AE830-6DA1-4040-BEE5-2B67C99583F1.jpeg 23FF07FE-DA0C-4212-846C-EA54B536646E.jpeg A22C8B5E-7452-4B05-9B32-B83691D73AB9.jpeg 76A520E3-E2DA-48D6-994E-F7711014ABA1.jpeg A0AF9D45-B835-4CA5-8982-FCFE2277F33D.jpeg CA787434-A69D-4EFF-85A7-37BD79D6B341.jpeg 7143A3DE-CD69-4F08-8BD7-6CC4798EBDC0.jpeg

The little vase is a souvenir piece from Chaumont-sur-Loire, one of the French Loire Valley castles. They're all major tourist destinations and had souvenir shops with similar pottery back in the 80s. Still do, for all I'd know. The ermine on the pot is a royal symbol, but the King never owned the place. His girlfriend did! (LOL)
