Hi, I have this framed picture mounted on a mat with that greeting. The label on the back is torn and I can only read ....Gallery and ...N.Y. I thought the spelling of greetynge would make it easy to find this online but no luck. Is the picture a photo? - the flowers (roses?) are pink. Frame is 3" by 7 1/2" Any way to identify anything about this? Someone thought it was worth framing. I'm clueless. Thanks!
It appears to be a decorative print from the early 20th century in much-damaged-by-water condition. You haven't posted a close-up of the image which would be helpful to determine age (by the woman's costume) and setting (plantation or elsewhere.) Debora
