    Hello all!
I believe that these are old + not reproduction... Possibly came from my Mom’s family in Ohio? Have brackets for mounting on the wall.

    Definitely not bin.

From the limited photos they sure look older to my eye. I'm not sure what the best descriptor is for these. Were they wired at one time?

And good suggestion to see if anything is written anywhere as far as maker.

I spoke w an estate clearing service yesterday — was told that because these were so widely copied in 1970s, that there is no market for these... :(

Maybe not quite "no market" but there are lhousands of them out there, and yes, quite a few reproductions from the 70's. Yours look to be the real deal, and might bring $20 or so to a collector. I collect them, but have quite a few myself already.

I had a couple of those that were in my great-aunt's house and yours look legitimately old, not repro. The wall bracket, however, does look newer. I've used mine to hold plants. Spider plants look great hanging down from these.

I don't know if the wall mount is newer or older.
Do know that the lamp brackets I find usually don't have the wall mount. So are difficult to hang.

The wall mount is very important.

I love the idea of holding a trailing plant.

In case you are interested in a more modern use, I mounted mine outside the house. Then put a cute little planter with flowers on it (or in your case two planters).
