I just got this bracelet and it is sterling silver tested and carved face jade stone. It marked 925 on the clasp and on the one of the panels. I am hoping you might recognize the design and able to tell me when it was made and by whom or where it’s from. Thank you in advance for all your help. Stay safe! <3

Me too and I think it’s pretty early-the traditional work continues today but without the modern post 1979 stamps or an eagle I’d guess 40s.

It is lovely, ezee. I'm with the others, Mexican, 1940s (maybe a few years older).
I would have the stones tested, just to be sure.

I had a pair of earrings from Mexico with that same face in a silver setting that would have matched that bracelet. My Aunt got them in Mexico in the early 1950s so I think that id is right on.

The style definitely continued straight on through but given that this one has no eagle stamp it has to be pre 1948. They were made in stone and glass so I agree with AJ that it’s a good idea to test it. It could be later 30s but that would be the earliest IMO as the precolumbian theme is definitely Spratling but the quality is a more commercial “after Spratling” which would push it to a bit later so I still think 40s.

BTW if selling OP you cannot use the name Spratling. Yours is not by him but he’s the guy who brought silversmithing (wink wink Holly) to Taxco. Prior to his arrival from Kansas City Taxco mined and exported silver only. Spratling started jewelry making there using ancient themes in the early 30s.
