Is this an "Italy" signature?

    It means it was made in Italy. There is often a 925 (sterling silver) mark on the other side.

    If it is gold, there is likely to be a gold mark on the other side.

    Get it tested. Some of that Italy 925 stuff isn't.

    And some of their gold stuff isn't either. Pity, because when it is either silver or gold, it can be very nice quality.
