IMG_3062.JPG IMG_3061.JPG Anybody have any knowledge on felt paintings? Picked this up because I thought the highlights around the eyes made it really unique and somewhat creepy. I figured worst-case scenario we could use it as a Halloween prop LOL

Felt or velvet? It appears to be a contemporary 1960s update of Mother & Child. México likely source.

I'm not exactly sure. I am guessing felt. It's not very thick and on a paper board. I know there was some dust from the paint on the interior of the glass. On the original mother and child painting did it have the same type of highlights around the eyes or is that an add? Thank you for replying!

To clarify, it's a painting of the Madonna and Child in contemporary dress. (Unlikely the Virgin Mary was heavy-handed with the eyeliner.)
