Featured chinese famille verte ? brush pot age

    something else i picked up yesterday from a charity shop

    unsure of age, thinking 1930s for some reason

    its got more of a cream colouring rather than white

    dont think its old old, or new new

    somewhere in the middle ?

    5 inches

    any thoughts appreciated

    Not so new Charlie, I'd have picked it up too. Good score, the paintwork is very nice. Keep your pens and pencils in it!

    This is Awata ware, early 20th c, the signature is "Kinkozan made".

    Another thing is that Japanese are very fond of little birds speeding through the scene as if they never even noticed the artist.:playful: Love that.:)
