Hey, y’all! Within the last 10 years or so, my mother passed on to me a Squash Blossom necklace that had belonged to her mother; my grandfather had purchased it as a gift. Of the family left that might have info, no one remembers anything about it except grandfather purchased it in AZ. I’ve tried researching it, but have not found anything similar to compare to. Attaching photos; any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you and hope you like as much as I do!

Sand cast naja and squash blossoms, handmade bench made beads.Do you see any maker's marks on it?

Yup......clean the Naja , looking for any makers mark...
if it's not there...which may be due to it's age.....it won't be any less lovely.
The artist looks like he used the stones from the same mine....likely forming them himself , or grabbing from the bottom of the barrel....as none match....but that's OK too !

I've seen what I call the ' cast fish tails ' before on what I believed to be 1960's work........

I would have said 70s but that’s just a guess. It’s a salable wearable piece.

My guess is 60s, but it is a guess just like the others.
Most older pieces are not marked, it's not really an issue because collectors know that.

    Hugely popular in the 1970s.

There is virtually no stylistic difference between late 60s and early 70s when these were the rage. IMO it can’t be definitively dated but is right in there.

Hate to say this, but worked for a short time as a designer in 70's Vancouver creating "Navajo" pieces for a large retail chain.:jimlad::bag:

I think one stone has been replaced. Notice all the bezels conform to the shape of the stones except this one. Also the type of turquoise seems to be different.

I can’t decide if they’re frightening or fabulous or both but that shot is definitely 70s with that collar. That was pretty much me too (sorta still is) but only on black or denim.

Really not a squash person although they’re hot right now and as I write I’m wearing 2 NA bracelets and one ring and earrings.

I agree and that stone should be checked for stability and tightening of othe bezel. If sold that needs to be disclosed.
