Welcome nidio. I am not sure what you mean, it is real Chinese, not a Western fake.
They are still making and using these, but yours has age. My guess is ca 1900-1910, but let's wait for the others.

Fellow members @Couch Potato Wannabe or @JayBee can probably read the mark. Most marks don't really offer information about the date though.

nidio, I forgot to say, this type is called a 'pagoda censer'. The smoke from the incense wafts out of the little doors and windows.

Ok, next installment (keep forgetting, one of those days): The decoration on the bowl is in Archaic style, stylized dragons. The windows on the lower floor of the pagoda are shaped like coins, for good fortune.

 

I can't look in your wallet, so I can't tell you whether to buy, and never would anyway.

Well it is OK I guess, I don't think the Chinese would use one like that so guessing it would be made for export.
Pricewise, well that's a difficult call - all relative to your income I suppose. I would not pay that much for it but keep in mind it is not something I covet, so price is immaterial in my case.
