Hello everyone! Well you never know what you're going to get in a box lot. I am now the proud owner of a lady's fur hat. It has flaps tied at the top that don't seem to serve any practical purposes except to allow the hat to double as a wrist corsage. It stands about six inches tall. The mark inside looks like a bunny. Does that mean it's rabbit? Does the 6 above the bunny indicate size? The third picture is what it looks like on. Please do not release this picture as someone will then insist I use as my Facebook profile photo. As you can see I am quite lost but need to move it quickly - my Yorkshire Terrier keeps gazing at it with lust in his heart. Any help is much appreciated!

Yes, 6 is the size. A good size to sell, pretty average size.

I always call that style a "Here, kitty, kitty." Probably has another, more formal name.

No they seem to fake. The don't untie and even if they did they're not long enough to get anywhere near the ear.

You should keep it and wear it. It blends nicely with your complexion and eyes.;)

Are you assuming "ladies" because of the small size vis a vis your head?

Edit: You could put some ties around it and let your Yorkie have at it!!!!!!! He'd probably bring it to you as his "great BIG KILL!!!!"

I like the hat komokwa posted but I haven't been to Ascot or a royal wedding in years. I think the fur hat was probably more appropriate for everyday wear. I do have an LL Bean hat with furry ear flaps but with global warming and all I haven't needed it. All dressed up and no place to go.

Hat update: As I feared the Yorkie has grabbed the fur hat and disappeared into some dark corner of the house doing heaven knows what. But you guys have been so kind that I dug back through my photo archives and found this one I took at a nearby auction barn in April. For some reason auctioneers like to put hats on me. I've put this new picture up as my antiquers.com avatar. And, no, I did not buy this hat. I left the auction before it sold.

Are you sure that's a hat and not an escaped Tribble that was caught and tanned as a souvenir?
