    lloyd249 it's not hoarding if it's valuable

my theory is this , it was shipped overseas in the early 1900's I'm sure hendersons was shipping all over the world at the time , it made it's way to a school in paris , thrown out after 20 years of service , Picasso liked to work on garbage and such , painted it for someone who fled Europe during the war to come to america and there it stayed in his/her house for a long time ,died and the chair was donated because it wasn't done by anyone they knew , so it held no personal value , and they might have thought it surely couldn't really painted by him . or didn't care, didn't know for what ever reason IMO if my relative could do this or anyone i knew i would cherish it for ever and keep the history alive .

it sure sound and is more logical than some one with a lot of talent painted it , put Picasso's name on it, and then stored it for a long time , what would the point of doing this if not for money . There is easier Picasso paintings to forge .
from what i have learned in order to artificially age it like it is would surely destroy the chair and the paint . this is 100% natural aging IMO

i took the liberty of microscoping a picture or two of his paintings in my book , to see if there was continuity in his art work and brush strokes you know see if they are all the same . this is my results , not sure what it means as i'm no expert lol but check this out . this is 10 different paintings through out his life time . Lloyd, I hope you are documenting everything, your quest to figure out your chair reminds me of the documentary Who the $&% Is Jackson Pollock?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who_the_$&%_Is_Jackson_Pollock?
there was also a fingerprint involved
However a forensic specialist matched a fingerprint on the painting with those on two authenticated Pollocks and a can of paint in his studio

sadly he says the prints on the chair are not enough to say they are his ,because of the way they are on the wood grain ,and paint , he said he sees things that aren't there, and vise versa .

Isn't there a show (British I think) that investigates art work, to determine if real or fake? I'll have to see if I can remember what the name of the show is.
