What is this? (table - early 1900s?)

    I just purchased a home built in 1921. There are two pieces of furniture, and I am trying to figure out what this one is. Can anyone help? There were also two postcards from 1914, so maybe the furniture was made prior to 1921.

    Thank you! Some of the pieces were actually inside, so I think I have everything!

    How about this spooky postcard? lol It says "Merry Christmas" in German and it is from 1914. There is actually a legible name and address on the other side.
