Good morning all! Well you asked for it. Here is the first group of costume jewelry pulled at random from the boxes. I've labeled each piece for ease of discussion. If you have any further suggestions how to make this easier, please let me know.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...to everyone that's offered me your knowledge and guidance. After all these years to be tasked with identifying all this costume jewelry has been kind of overwhelming. Ask me about almost anything else, and I'll know a teensy bit. Not this. :bored::sour::wacky::arghh:

Don't know much about costume jewellery, but 9 could have some low grade jade in it, and 10 looks like a kilt pin. Good luck!

Thanks @cxgirl! It is pretty stuff and the tip of the iceberg. :-o
Thanks @Any Jewelry! I think 21 may have some jade too, it's pierced and carved and somewhat translucent when held up to the light.

Kilt pin! Fabulous! I like that!

Btw...I put the jadite earrings on a light table and under a loupe I could see a line in one that kind of looks like a fracture but doesn't go all the way through...I'll need to have them looked at by an expert. Thank you again for all your help.

Is #19 something that comes apart at the center?

No, it two identical castings soldered together with a stick pin on the back. I can take a photo if you'd like?

    Feels like brass.

I'm not a joolie, but someone else who knows more might get something out of the underside. I was thinking it might be a belt buckle or some such, which it turns out not to be. ;)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I love this amethyst-colored set -- looks like the one to the right of the number is some kind of clip, based on the two prongs showing at the bottom?

Seeing the underside of All these would be important, as Bakersgma indicated. Your photos are very good.

Can you show the backs? How the piece is constructed can help ID the maker or will tell us when it was made :)

    Great collection.
Most looks 1960s or a little later.

Appreciate you numbering your items. Makes it a lot easier. Although me personally, 10 items would be easier to deal with than 20. But that's just me and my brain.

#1. Looks very interesting, would like to see the back. You know there are a couple of rhinestones missing?

#9 Looks like what I call California jade. Not particularly high quality jade.

#15 There is a name for these little perfume bottles.

#20 Can we see the back

It looks like jade glass, so glass. Used a lot in costume jewellery.

Thanks, @clutteredcloset49! I posted a pic of the flip sides. The collection belonged to my husbands great aunt. I think she did most if her accumulating in the 40's - 60's.
