I could use some help figuring this one out. The frame is 10 1/2" x 12 1/2'. N Roberts bottom left. i can't make out all of the writing on the bottom right. only du Roy and 1673. before i pull it out of the frame i would like to find out more.

That second link says "del. et sculp" is a London publisher, which is nonsense. It translates as "drawn and engraved" and means the one person was responsible for both.

I'm not seeing any sign of chain lines in the paper, which would be expected with laid paper, but that may be a lack of clarity in the photos. It's also not apparent that the lines are engraved (perhaps for the same reason). It's not encouraging that multiple copies of this print are currently on the eBay.

I think you're going to need a closer look. You might want to hold the paper up to a light to see if there's a watermark.

When you all finish nithering about the print, I'll be happy to take that frame off your hands.

I can't tell. It does like like hand coloring (not photo mechanical reproduction), but I'm having trouble seeing the paper as hand made. That could very easily just be me.

The coloring is hand done, that i can tell. but anything else i just don't have a clue.
