Funny kinda chain...

I'd never seen nor heard of "forged rivetless chain" until I got some in a box of surplus stuff I bought. Had to look it up. Mr. Google says it is used for (industrial) trolley and towing applications. You can easily assemble or disassemble it by hand as long as it is slack. Each link section is about 4 inches long.

Hmmmmmmm..............but then I'm sure you'll come up with a use for it!!

 

If all else fails, your wife can beat you with it the next time you come home with a warehouse-filling load of stuff!

 

I showed her some if the "fails" that came along with some decent stuff last Wed. One was a box containing 1000 bouffant caps. I thought I might be able to make dust filters out of them. I tried one on and yes I looked very odd in it so I won't be wearing them around.

 

Shower or "conditioning" caps? Hair covers for food workers?

 

Yeah, shapeless green hair cover things. Still have 999 but they're packed tight and don't take up much space. I'll think of something they can be used for. Lessee here, maybe a "Balloon Cozy"?

 

They sound like conditioning caps - find a hair salon or five with a majority African-american clientele and you're golden.

 

Ok here's another use: Invite lots of friends to a Bouffant party. Give each guest a cap at the door and require that they wear it during the party. Make a video of these Bouffant-heads partying; it'll go viral quickly and you make money from the advertising you put on the video.

 

If I haven't received my invitation within a week or so, I will know what you REALLY think of me.........................

or maybe that should read "If I DO receive an invitation within a week or so, I will know what you REALLY think of me".........

 

If your life lacks excitement these days, you can pull the elastic rim of this hat down to your chin, walk into a bank, and they'll probably give you lots of money even if you don't ask.

 

And when the cops catch you, they throw you in a nice safe cell where you'll get free medical care and three squares a day for quite a while. Just don't pay the bail.

 

Don't think that there aren't moments when this is an almost appealing alternative to some of the consequences I am facing financially..............
