Lloyd, I was JUST about to ask if the books showed any chairs! (Tho all I know about Picasso chairs is from you!)

i don't really expect to find it in any book or pictures lol
if it was ,then it would probably be accounted for ,and there would be no way to prove it was the actual one in a pic . it's not on any stolen art list either , and that's a good thing hee hee .

it's plausible that it may have come from one of the schools he attended. that would make it easier to prove if i could find a pick of it in the book lol , still waiting on Mr. Biro's final report , hope he's not underwater lol

I figured it was fairly new - it does have at least a few years of wear on the base - but probably not more than 20 years old would be my guess. But yep, I figured it'd look good on my desk at work for a dollar

 

I'd have grabbed it for that, too. Mind how you set your desk on fire.

 

My office needs more fire - more I say!

I found 6 roly poly Color Craft spaghetti glasses for $2 last summer. I need to take some pics and list them already.

 

Today I hit the eye doctor, I still have eyes, and then two thrifts. I found...not much. Actually, zilch. There is however a rummage sale this weekend. Hope springs, as it were.
