    its probably Chinese pretending to be a Sevres mark or something but Id like to pin it down.

    Could be GL, but I don’t recognize the mark. Somehow I get a latter part of the 20th c vibe...

    Hi,
    Try using the correct term. It is not an ink well but an ink stand. An ink well is one piece, if it has several ink wells and a tray it is an ink stand.

    the database I use, refers to Goumot as a decorator firm. I guess typically they buy blanks and paint them.
