My name is Andrea and my husband and I live in the southern tier of the Adirondacks in upstate NY. We have come across a bunch of great antiques in remodeling my familys 1880s farmhouse Im sure I'll have lots of questions for the seasoned antiquers out there :)

Welcome! Nice to have you aboard the board!

Many (many, many, many) years ago I spent some time in the Adirondacks...................loved it there in the summers, but according to the fashion at the time you "could only" spend a few weeks there in the summer..............bummer! The camp was sold and turned into a commercial venture in the 1940s, burned down in the 1960s. I have no idea what the property is today......................

We live in Benson a very small rural town about 50 minutes north of Albany... probably 200 residents. But it is beautiful up here

Welcome, spent some time in the Adirondacks when I was a youngster. Lovely, calm place.

Hi and WELCOME, Andrea!! I think I already did this, but have been told more than once is OK!!!! Soooooo, when posting images, once they're loaded small the very top image says "THUMBNAIL" "FULL IMAGE" ......click "FULL IMAGE", and then they will ALL appear LARGE!!! Thanks!!! MUCH EASIER on older eyes!!! Images should be NO LARGER than 1 MB.....480 x 640 is a good general size...... a bit larger is good too!!! Have a blast!!!! WE do!!!:joyful::joyful::joyful::playful::playful::smuggrin::):)
