Who made my Sideboard / Buffet (QuarterSawn , Tiger Paws)

    This is my first Sideboard / Buffet and I have no idea who made it or how old it is. Maybe Victorian?

    !880-1900 Golden oak sideboard. The hint of Art Nouveau makes it prettier than most.Just a guess,wait for others to chime in.

    I think Johnny has this right other than doubt it is 1880. More like 1890-1910.

    Different prices in different parts of the country. You could check local auction catalogs to see what oak furniture is going for down there. Big, heavy stuff like this doesn't do so well in New England.

    How much would it go for in New England, maybe if I sell it for a good price I will drive to NE with a big truck and buy more.

    In Iowa you would be lucky to get $200 in good condition. People here are more into mid-century.
