Am I paying too much?

I always had plans to turn one of these in to an aquarium. Never got around to it and sold the TV a few years ago. Figure I could always buy another if so inclined in the future.

 

This is in great shape. Did you end up paying the full price? I am sure this needs a signal but it looks like you need to adjust the horizontal hold ..... LOL! Could very well be in working order.

 

yup but they hook up to the digital to analog box . if you have say an atari 2600 would hook up to it .

 

or a vcr with a pig tail connector

That wouldn't have helped as we didn't have cable then. Just a regular antennae and if it rained we didn't get reception.
I made one of those indoor antennae that I could switch from the main antennae to the homemade indoor antennae just for rainy days. It actually worked just great.

We finally now have cable.

 

heehee it was like that just when i moved out from vancouver to a farm in sask. all there was,was 3 channels with a hokey roof top Ariel (one wire was broke had to climb up on the roof and fix it lol ) 2 and 4 came from lloydminster and after they signed off at 9:00pm i had to climb up on the roof and adjust the areal (180') for saskatoon , which signed off at midnight . no wonder farmers go to bed early and get up early , no tv, lol

 

oh ya i just remembers it was a portable 13 " b/w tv horrible lol

 

you can hook cable up to it with the same pigtail adapter, to your cable/sat box ,just put the tv on channel 3 and the left knob on vhf i believe if not uhf ,on the back it should have 2 sets of screws vhf and uhf hook pigtail up to vhf .

 

I did pay full price, I am a horrible haggler(too nice).

I liked that idea, and also, if I was more of a liquor drinker, I like the ones that are turned into mini bars, but alas, I would hate to destroy such a beautiful thing!
