Please help to identify hallmark on this necklace.
It is definitely silver with 18k gold inlays and onyx.
I could not make out hallmark and not sure at what period it was made.
I will appreciate any info you could share.

    Thanks

It's hard to tell what that mark is even supposed to be. Looks like a trefoil with a snail in the middle.

Nice set. I hope someone comes up with the mark for you.

Are the earrings marked as well? Just wondering if the makers mark is more clear on one of the earrings.

Same marks but visibility not better. Any idea when c in circle (copyright mark) started and where?

Someone was just talking about that on another thread...I think they said mid-1950's. Looks quite a bit newer than that to me.

You might want to post a picture of the back of the earrings anyway as well as the back of the necklace and the clasp. Sometimes you can pin down the age more by looking at the hardware involved in making the item.

ETA: Found the thread they were discussing it on - 1954 is the year they started the copyright symbol on jewelry.

Earrings not clip on, pierced. I I initially placed it somewhere in 70's but not so sure anymore. Couldn't find any similar design on the web. It does made pretty well.

I'd put this well into the 1980s, but it's "good 80s" rather than the tat I used to wear. No clue whodunnit.

I agree with evelyb. Think big hair and boxy suit jackets with heavily padded shoulders.

The suit this was worn with probably didn't have lapels. I had one in kelly green. :)

Screams and shouts 80s to me. American, with the fact it says K not ct, I think.

I know this thread has been up for a while, but still would like to have seen a photo of the back of the earrings, another shot at the mark.

Also always a good idea to show the entire piece. I assume the part that is cut off in the first photo is just more of the same, but still nice to see it in its entirety. If you are posting photos of the back of the earrings, please post a 2nd photo of the back of the entire piece, as well. Thanks.

Curious how this is worn and stays on. Is the top rope part sort of spring like?
