This is interesting and a little out of what I usually buy. This figure stands 6" tall and the base is about 4 1/2" long. Maybe a Greek figure? spelt1.JPG spelt2.JPG spelt3.JPG spelt4.JPG spelt5.JPG

    Who's the "muse" for music?

    Terpsichore?

That's as good as any, I suppose. The Wiki page about the Greek muses was less than clear. Seems there were quite a few more than I thought and some had multiple names.

What's she holding in her right hand - a scroll?

    Could be a scroll

Terpsichore: Terpsichore was the protector of dance; she invented dances, the harp and education. She was called Terpsichore because she was enjoying and having fun with dancing ( “Terpo” in Greek refers to be amused). She was depicted wearing laurels on her head, holding a harp and dancing.

There was one chart on Wiki that mentioned a muse of epic poetry with a scroll and a lyre, but that might be her either.

Too bad they don't say who she is. Mine is bronze I think, not magnetic.

    Hi,
I think yours is spelter. See the gray finish on the bottom edge. if you give it a tiny scratch it will be shiny gray.
