Just can't find this maker ! Arg or AAARG

    Man oh man ! Why can't I find this women's clothing label. Is anybody's computer or brain better than mine ?

    I think TALON is simply a long time strong zipper company in use by different manufacturers. I've seen them before.
    DOTTI is out of NYC and sold by Macy's and probably others.

    The zipper is Talon, been in business for years and years. Has nothing to do with the brand name on the tag.

    They're still sold in fabric stores and I have some around in the sewing/craft/crap room. If it's long and all metal, odds are it's from the early 1960s or earlier. They went to plastic zippers for dresses and the like around 1964 or so. You can still get the short metal ones for in trousers.

    Yea, 1950's 60's Talon metal zipper. It's the original with the dress I got, lots of clothes I got from lady where hers and very well kept for many years.

    I have never belonged or interacted with anyone there - I just "look at the pretty pictures" to get an idea of where I should start a search for more information. And there is some hard to find information there regarding some of the more obscure designers and fashion houses.

    I TALK to no one but youse guys.....................
