I would go for Christopher Dresser teapots.

Hard to believe they were produced in Victoria's reign.

Some of the Shaker furniture looks so sleek and modern. Their design sensibility fits so well with modern tastes.

This candle stand is from 1840.

Bluemoon, I'm not sure why you are calling this Neon green glass. The correct term is Vaseline glass. It was first made round about 1840.
The perfume on the left is most likely Boston Sandwich glass. You'll have to check the actual dates, but they operated from about 1840-1880:).

As for you question - What items would you not believe are antiques, but are?

I'm beginning to think my husband might be one.:oldman::)

I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to glass and to me the color at least in the picture is yellowish neon green.

A UV light will turn the glass sort of a neon green color, because it has uranium in the mix.
However, the original name for this glass was Canary glass. Round about 1900 it became known as Vaseline Glass, because the glass made people think of the the original petroleum jelly aka Vaseline. Today's Vaseline product is not the same color as the original.
