Egyptian Anubis Copreous Metal Dog/Jackal Statue

    Anybody knowledgeable on Egyptology? Bronze measuring 28"H x 11"W x 19"D. Has tail sheared off. Neck is broken and reattached. All in all, for its age, is in pretty good shape. Seems like somebody tried to paint it at one time. Am basing age on bronze pitting and so forth and so on. The surface is not smooth, it has like sandy surface.     The finish looks faked to me,so Im going with 20th century repro.

    Those look like something from a Vegas hotel. Or the house of someone with money and no taste.... The OP's doggie is at least sort of cute in a very hungry way.
