I found this flask metal detecting. It was in lynnwood wa. The flask says nov 27 1906 but can't read the whole signature/ manufacturer. Can someone help me with any info of my find? Thx.

Can't really tell anything from your pictures. Try editing and making them "Full Size"

If you rub a little corn starch or baking soda over the letters, maybe some will stand out.

    Perfume?

It looks like the bottom is a separate piece, perhaps its a lighter?

    Is it two pieces?

My first reaction was lighter, but where do you put the flint? fluid? Usually there are 2 separate fill holes.

I don't see any resemblance to any antique lighter that I've seen, but hey, there were all kinds of designs...

It's a lighter I did not know it came apart. The flint was inside. Thanks for the help. Pocket strike lighter.

The flint should be on the side.

Here is a lighter (Auermetall) very similar if not the same to this one on the Vintage Cigarette Lighter website. It has a patent date of Nov. 27, 1906. The description says the actual lighter probably wasn't patented with that the patent date of a Welsbach's type of flint. Even after editing the pic of the bottom of the lighter, I still have no idea what it says. The date looks like "Pat. Nov. 23th, 1906," which if so then 3 days off of the date on Auermetall lighters; however, if it says the 27th then it is probably the same lighter.

    About the 11th lighter down:

    Here's the Welbach's flint patent of Nov. 27, 1906:
