Help with Sykes Fairbairn knife

  1. Hi all,
    I'm trying to figure out the correct era for this Sykes-Fairbairn style commando knife. Thanks for looking!!

    I have one similar in my knife pile in the garage. My experience is that if it is not an original but a later 'style of' thing, the value is purely utilitarian. I think if it was Sheffield made it would be stamped on the blade.

    Spring, did you see the story on PBS about Dumfries castle in Scotland? Weapons on the walls up the wazoo! Pet project of Prince Charles.
